After days of communication device blasts that killed dozens of people, Lebanon is now being rocked by massive Israeli strikes. Nearly 500 people were reportedly killed across southern Lebanon and around 1,650 were injured after Israeli forces started its biggest offensive against Hezbollah since the beginning of war in Gaza on October 7 last year.
Hezbollah is said to have fired nearly 200 rockets into northern Israel in retaliation for the strikes. On the other hand, Israeli forces have warned people in Beirut and other parts of Lebanon to leave their homes and keep away from any building having Hezbollah weapons.
Meanwhile, Arab countries and other global powers have condemned the Israeli attack and urged Israel and Hezbollah to step back from the brink of all out war.
